A FlashOpal custom made design using three tiers of solid 14k yellow gold love hearts, each on top of the other with the finished dimensions being 1 ½ inches by just over one and a third inches. The three heart tiers weigh 15 grams of 14k gold with the inlaid opal having a combined weight of about 12 carats so this is a large and heavy opal pendant.
Expert skill and craftsmanship at its best has been used with each inlaid piece of opal cut and set with minimal gaps against each curve and bend. There is a kaleidoscope of color that catches the eye from any angle and although the video shows the color play with movement better than the images, this pendant is mesmerizing in person.
The three completed heart tiers are secured with gold pins then held together by laser at the final stage ensuring a stable solid pendant. The gold is finished with a high polish and any images that show what may look like scratches due to being zoomed in, are not visible to the naked eye.
